Parking here is a bit of a pain as it is permit only along the point near the boat ramp. We need to park in the dirt (mud) car park on the road near the entrance, so dump the gear down there first and walk down once suited up.
We entered right at the end of the wall and clambered over the rocks. It was low tide and wasn't that difficult so at other times it should be easier. Entering here also keeps you away from the boat ramp and it is also a shorter surface swim to deeper water.
We surface swam (killer!) north until we hit the narrow reef you can see on the map, then we commenced our dive and headed south. There are a lot of large boulders creating plenty of holes for things to hide in, although being the end of winter those 'things' are still yet to reappear.
It was only a short dive to use up the rest of my tank from our first dive at Royal Beach. Will have to come back here in summer to see how the site changes.
