First dive back in the dry suit for 2011 after the cold exit last week. It usually takes me a while to settle back into dry suit diving but this dive was great except for having to carry the extra lead to the entry point. It really kills my hips.
There was a slight current under the pier which disappeared about halfway through the dive. All the usual suspects around although I did find a type of sea slug which I have never seen before. There seemed to be a lot of sea horses about and we also found the Port Jackson shark that looks like it has been killed by some fisherman.
We had to end the dive early so we would have time to get some tea before meeting the others for the night dive at Rye Pier. Great dive as always at Blairgowrie.
